bookmyplusone works because everyone who uses it can trust that a booking means good, platonic company in a public place. These guidelines apply to everyone: customers, companions and our own team. They are part of our Terms of Use.
In an emergency, call 112. Then report what happened from the booking's page, so our team can help.
1. Platonic, always
- bookmyplusone is for company, not romance or anything physical. No sexual or intimate services, requests, remarks or advances, ever.
- Do not ask for, offer or hint at anything beyond the activity you booked.
- Breaking this rule ends your account immediately, and we report it to the police where the law requires.
2. Public places only
- Meet only at the public place in the booking, such as a café, a mall, a park, a cinema or an event.
- Never meet at, or go on to, a home, a hotel room or any other private place, even if both of you agree.
- If plans change, both people must agree, the new place must also be public, and you must tell each other through the booking's messages.
3. Respect
- Be kind, polite and on time. Treat the other person as you would want to be treated.
- No harassment, threats, insults, stalking, pressure or unwanted contact, during a booking or after it.
- No discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, origin or any other part of who someone is.
- Respect the end of the booking: when the time is up, it is up.
4. Your own safety, and theirs
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you expect to be back.
- Keep your phone charged, and arrange your own way there and back.
- Do not drink to excess, and never take drugs, during a booking.
- You can leave at any time if you feel uncomfortable. Report it afterwards from the booking's page.
5. Keep it on bookmyplusone
- Arrange bookings and talk through bookmyplusone. Do not ask for, or give out, phone numbers, social media handles or addresses to get around the site; we hide them in messages.
- Pay only through bookmyplusone. Never ask for or accept cash, gifts, transfers or tips outside the site.
- Do not bring other people to a booking unless the booking says so.
6. Be yourself
- One account per person, in your real name.
- Photos and videos must be recent, show you on your own with your face clearly visible, and contain nothing suggestive, and no phone numbers, social handles or other ways to reach you.
- Describe yourself, your activities and your availability truthfully.
7. Privacy
- Do not photograph or record anyone, or share their pictures or details, without their clear consent.
- What someone shares with you during a booking stays with you.
8. Reviews
Write honest reviews, only about bookings you took part in. Do not offer or ask for anything in exchange for a review, and do not threaten to leave a bad one.
9. Reporting
If someone breaks these guidelines, report it from the booking's page within 24 hours of its end, or write to info@bookmyplusone.com. Our team reviews every report, may contact both people, and treats reports in confidence.
10. What happens when guidelines are broken
Depending on what happened, we may warn you, remove content, cancel bookings, hold a companion's earnings while we look into it, suspend or permanently remove your account, and involve the police. Serious breaches, such as anything sexual, any threat or violence, or anything involving a minor, lead to permanent removal straight away.
